Most of the meds I’ve tried since 2008 were developed for something other than migraines.
These off-label meds have always been a bit of a problem for me, and my distrust continues even as some of having been upgraded to“on-label.” From beta-blockers for high blood pressure to antiseizure medications and anti-depressants, the list is long and tortuous.

Last week’s perfect storm of deadlines, project milestones, and migraine reminded me not to panic, but to breathe. It reminded me there is only so much I can accomplish in a week, and that it is okay.
