Not everything he gives me is welcome - but this was.
Okay - it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I was thrilled. Pollux brought the snake into the dining room, uninjured. I had my glasses off and initially thought it was a small branch, but then it moved. Glasses on I was still confused. It is so tiny I thought it was a large earthworm.
Saved it. Identified it. Then put it in a holding cell for the night so I could take pics in the AM.
Woke to find it did a Houdini.
So these are the only images of this common, but rarely seen snake.
